Prague Panorama, Pendulum, Vysehrad Castle are the tourist classics. Also the Dorcadion's micros on downtown Prague islands: UIP1, UIP2, Turbine. We are looking for short, not too difficult downtown Praha caches for a short trip this weekend (or maybe events?).
If you have a time for an afternoon hike, my suggestion is Prokopske udoli: Green valley and surrounding caches. A day hike would be even better, eg. to Karlstejn Castle and Czech Karst (SW of Prague, first 5 caches of this list).

How about to organize Czech-Austrian-Slovak geoevent next year somewhere at the common border of the three states? ))
This sounds like a great idea. I'm quite certain that some Austrian cachers (theplank, e.g.) would be delighted.
BS.
P.S. Thanks for the link, by the way,

That's a bright idea! I spent last week-end at Sumava/Nationalpark Bayerischer Wald region, there are some cches in Austria but very few in Czech. Really fantastic counntryside, quite wide offer of camping sites on Czech side... I hope that we will meet together somewhere... I thought about the South Moravia (Mahren) area, Palava, wine, caches )), it is point, which is not very far from Slovakia, Austria or Czech Republic...That's a bright idea! The spring campout event has been discussed here recently and the general preference seemed to be Southern Bohemia, because the last two Czech events took place in Moravia. That's even closer to LinzI thought about the South Moravia (Mahren) area, Palava, wine, caches )), it is point, which is not very far from Slovakia, Austria or Czech Republic...
If there would be a CZ/SK/AT event, I would prefer Male Karpaty (Slovakia)... I haven't been at Palava since they built that ugly dams there - isn't it in season a place for fishers, boaters and mosquitoes?

I guess we can hold two events during the spring or summer next year - one international and one regional - regional in Southern Bohemia - as we decnided in another forum topic, and one international.Palava is always a great place, also Low Carpathians region, in Slovakia, I think the place would not be a problem. The spring campout event has been discussed here recently and the general preference seemed to be Southern Bohemia, because the last two Czech events took place in Moravia. I guess we should set up separate thread for that on each country's forum and link them together. The question is who's gonna do that ;-) ?I guess we can hold two events during the spring or summer next year - one international and one regional - regional in Southern Bohemia - as we decnided in another forum topic, and one international.

I can provide transaltions for this topic, if necessary. In doubt, you can always ask in English in the austrian forum (doesn't make too much difference, I suppose).for those who does´t speak German (as me , you can use the Babelfish translator at www.babelfish.altavista.com
